• How is Bal Week structured? I don't get it!​

  • Bal Week is a choose-your-own-adventure kind of event! We invite you to join us in NYC and follow the weekday schedule which includes all sorts of vibes and venues hosted by local organizations we are proud of partner with. Attend some classes, see a Broadway show, go to one social dance or all of them, do a bar crawl or try out that fancy new restaurant, take a breather in Central Park, or whatever else New York inspires you to do. Then on the weekend, join us for three straight days of Bal Week hosted dancing and classes.​

• What is included in my Party Pass?

  • Party Passes include Friday, Saturday, and Sunday evening parties. 

  • Saturday and Sunday evening electives can be added on for additional cost at the door.

  • Additional registration is required for our Rendezvous and Mix and Match competitions, and the Sunday Slow Bal comp is free to enter.

• What is included in my Full Weekend Pass?

  • Everything a Party Pass includes PLUS eight hours of leveled or elective classes on Saturday and Sunday.

• How can I book private lessons?

  • To book a private lesson, please reach out to the staff or attendee instructor you'd like to learn from and coordinate privately.

  • Space for private lessons in our Saturday and Sunday class venue is limited to the lunch breaks. Saturday 12:30pm-2pm and Sunday 1-2:30pm are available for privates and students will be asked for $25/hour to reserve their space. To reserve one of these slots, student or instructor must email us to confirm.

• Can I get a refund?​

  • Unfortunately, as mentioned on our registration page/form, we do not provide refunds.

• How can I transfer my pass?

  • Please reach email us with your name and cc the attendee accepting your pass. Payments for any transfers are handled privately. The pass transfer deadline has been extended until April 4th.

• I have questions about food recommendations, sightseeing, attractions, etc. 

  • You can email us at balweekny@gmail.com (we definitely have some favorite local spots) but you may receive a wider variety of answers or invitations by posting in our Facebook event! ​

• Will you sell t-shirts at the door?

  • We will have extremely ​limited quantities to sell at the door on Friday. Arrive early to snag yours!​​​
