Join New York City’s unstoppable balboa scene for a seven days devoted to dance, inspired by the original Bal Week on Balboa Island in the 1930s. We have fantastic teachers lined up for a full week of classes, live music every night and special venues that will give you a taste of life in NYC.

Bal Week & Weekend

Bal Week is part exchange, part workshop and competition weekend.

Monday through Thursday local teachers and event organizers will be putting on a la carte dances and classes as well as organizing outings to some fun spots in the city. People who register for Bal Week's Weekend will enjoy 6 hours of track classes (check level descriptions below), two class electives as well as our Friday-Sunday night dances.
